The hosts were the heart and soul of the property. I can't begin to tell you how fabulous this place is, especially if you are an antique and story collector like me. The hosts were just amazing and happy to indulge me in my questions and to show me hidden secrets in the house. The gardens are stunning with a plethora of fruit and vegetables with butterflies fluttering about. Just magical. I loved it. The design of the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Each space had its own personality, elegance and timeless charm. From the richly patterned wallpapers to the carefully curated art pieces, every detail seemed to tell a story. Beyond the beauty, the hotel’s comfort was on par with its aesthetic. My room was HUGE, the bed like a canopied cloud, and the amenities top-notch. There was high-speed Wi-Fi and tea and home made cake served in the drawing room upon arrival.

The Black Rock House is very beautiful and the host Vincent is great! Vincent was very welcoming and kind. He helped us with excellent tips for restaurants and places to see, and made wonderful breakfast. We would very much recommend staying at the Black Rock house and would love to return.

You couldn't wish for better hosts than Michael and Olivia. Together, they run a beautifully decorated and maintained B&B. Attention is paid to detail, beautiful white fluffy towels for the bathroom, and fine quality bed linen on a comfy bed. Breakfast was exceptional, and time will be taken by the hosts to ensure that you have a menu that will delight. The food is of the highest standard, sourced locally and cooked to your individual liking. There is nothing negative to say, and we will certainly be returning.

The holiday home was lovely, very airy and bright, very comfortable and had a nice feel to it. Even though we brought things like toiletries, tea coffee suger etc we need not of worried as all these things were already in the home, we liked the fact it was dog friendly and it was nice being close to the lake.
The location was excellent with stunning sea views. The apartment was easy to find with either street parking or an underground car park nearby. It was well equipped for a short stay & had so much potential to be a really lovely holiday home. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that let it down.
The holiday home was in a good location very close to the clubhouse and restaurant. Home was of excellent quality with all the bedding and utensils provided.
Caravan was lovely and comfy. Lots of home comforts. Towels and bedding provided, along with tea and coffee. Lots of kitchen equipment too. Other families that we met commented on how lovely our holiday home was compared to the non privately owned ones.
The caravan really was great with an outside seating area as well.
We didn't purchase the entertainment passes due to the price, but the amusement arcade and outdoor play areas provided more than enough entertainment for the children.
Well maintained and decorated accomodation. Quirky layout but worked well for us. Beds were very comfy, and we had everything we needed and more. Our hosts were very welcoming and clearly wanted us to enjoy staying in their holiday home. The thoughtful touches made it very special especially the cake.
This loft apartment was immaculate., and unique with lots of additional touches for our ease and comfort. Breakfast was not included but lots of extras in the compact kitchenette for tea and coffee and snacks. The lovely shower room was spacious with lots of extras. A great little self contained holiday home for a couple with everything you could possibly need.
I booked this holiday home for my children and me very last minute, as in on the day! Teresa, the host lady, went out of her way to sort things super fast so we could have a wonderful few days. The facilities for children are second to none.
