Everything was great couldn’t fault the staff however, there was no booklet or instructions on how to use anything. If you’re travelling from overseas to a different system you like to read a welcoming pack and a guide on how to use the utilities. There was a spa but no instructions. We did have to ask the maintenance man for help with tv he was very patient and very obliging with help, as was reception. The only comment would be to have a welcome pack with instructions to know to use everything would be helpful I think otherwise excellent place to stay

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely decoration. Kitchen very well appointed. A lovely apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable.
There is a leisure centre with pool, which we didn't have time to use. There was an 80s Karaoke on Saturday evening so great entertainment in the bar!

Perfectly locales for a visit to Pitlochry. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were given some tips on good places to eat in the evening. Breakfast was very filling. A lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

On the edge of pitlochry, plenty of off road parking and charging points. The hotel from the outside looks nothing special. Inside the rooms were fantastic, well maintained, clean (spotless) and comfortable. Check in was simple and quick as was checkout. ( everthing was simple but effective). Breakfast was superb , buffet, choice of juice, cereal and cooked buffet selection, two coffee machines ( no waiting). Staff were friendly and helpful. Someone has thought about this place when setting it up, it's efficient, comfortable and good value. We will be back.

The situation is beautiful, close to the river, across the road from the wonderful Birnam Arts, in the heart of the village and within easy reach of Dunkeld. An old hotel–amazing building but has seen better days. Original features in the common areas were gorgeous. Thankfully, the bed was very comfortable.
The room was basic but functional. It was in a good location in the village and access to food.
Off road parking is available but does have a few pot holes. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The Victorian building is huge and beautiful. Out of season it was rather quiet which was really nice.
The price for a double room was very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful.
The village of Birnam is lovely and excellent town of Dunkeld is only 10mins walk away.
The walking in the countryside is excellent and varied.
Trevor, the host, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our rooms were opposite so it felt like a holiday home for a night. We will definitely visit again in the future. Distance to Edinburgh Airport makes it a perfect spot after landing or before departure.
