good facilities and very relaxing. we were visiting family so location for us was perfect. free wifi and tv facilities for entertainment were appreciated. We would certainly stay here again as we have many family to visit in Selkirk. Perfect property to take our small dog with the small garden. On street parking difficult as it is opposite a primary school however delighted to discover on of the playgrounds is open to the public for parking and a 2 minute walk to property

Broomfields Country House is situated near Melrose. Melrose Abbey is 5 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. The rooms offer a private bathroom and a shower.
It is a charming small hotel in the centre of the village. Has its own car park and lovely rooms. The owner is an amazing cook and the breakfasts were cooked with passion.
Good-sized room in pub in small village to the W of Galashiels. Clean, comfortable, good wifi. Had good dinner and breakfast in pub restaurant. Bus-stop more or less outside.
It was ok and we had a free breakfast. The hotel is a little far out to be able to go and have dinner elsewhere and no shops cafes etc nearby. It is quiet but on a main road through the village. Ok for one night but doubt if I would stay longer.
Juniper cottage is in a lovely location with an amazing view of the hills from the bedroom. The cottage is well equipped and everything is of a high standard. It is comfortable and cosy. Very quiet little village on the route to lots of interesting destinations and close to Galasheils with a very good range of shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Plus everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. The hostess was very thoughtful and left milk, juice ,tea, coffee etc which was very welcome.

Beautifully refurbished terraced house - surprisingly spacious, even though it is quite small. Very good quality equipment - many items looked brand new. Cosy and comfortable. On the edge of a quiet village surrounded by lovely countryside: you can see the hills from the house. Very helpful and accommodating host.
