Beautiful nature around, and very special design. Big and comfortable bed. We saw toucans, cows, and lots of birds around. The pool was nice to stay in on the hot hours, and the walk to the beach and supermarket was easy. We rented bikes so going into town was easy as well. we recommend it since it is a bit far walking into town, but definitely worth it. Host was nice and always attentive.

This small resort with only 6 wodden houses was probably the best accommodation during our 3 weeks in CR. It is because, the houses and the entire place is well designed, maintained and super clean….but, most importantly the host - Christian is the a concierge, entertainer, adviser and his friendly welcome and warm laughers let you feel like home, in an relaxed atmosphere (which can’t be created in hotel chains). His (& the teams) passion to serve the guests are outstanding. Besides that: excellent & rich breakfast, just a few minutes to the beach and best placed to visit NP Cahuita & Manzanillo. Christian provided good restaurant recommendations for dinner too. The room has a fridge - already welcoming guest with water / juice. To conclude. No worries, this is the place to go!! Lovely spacious room, gorgeous gardens, decent pool. Great to see the resident sloth in the garden - what a treat. Some reviews said room #9 was very noisy above the kitchen. We stayed in room 9 and although above the kitchen the noise was not an issue. Yes, could hear things at times but not early morning or late at night so sleep not disturbed.

The place is absolutely beautiful! Both the room and the garden. Everything was very clean. The hostesses were so nice and welcoming, and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable, including placing our wet sea stuff in the sun so they could dry. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants peace and quiet just a short walk from the center, ideal for couples!

Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep.
