During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Sloths tree: sloths were on the tree in front of our room. while 4 days staying, we could see them 2 days. Hosts: they have very hospitality. I wanted to enjoy convesation after learning spanish more.

A Big shower in the bedroom that worked perfectly with good pressure and temperature. The kitchen had everything we needed. The whole property was clean, well built and well maintained. It was nice and quiet and only a very short walk into town. Valentina was very helpful and friendly. She answered all questions we had and gave us a little map to use for getting around town. She gave us good recommendations where to eat and where we should visit while there.

Cahuita is a 5 min walk tops and it's just away enough that you're not bothered. But the part was the owners. Lovely couple ready to greet you at every chance. And if you need it they'll get it for you. I highly recommend this place for a nice chill Caribbean stay.

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge is a bed and breakfast hotel located 3 km from Cahuita centre. and 300 metres from National Park Cahuita. Thanks to the proximity of the national park, you'll have access to landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. The bedroom and its facilities were really good for what we were looking for.

Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel El Encanto is located in Cahuita and features a pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and private terraces.

The tropical-style rooms here will provide you with a ceiling fan, wardrobe and private bathroom with a shower. They feature rustic wooden décor, plus a safety-deposit box. Lovely room. Lots of little extras to make the stay quite nice. Beautiful grounds, secure parking, nice safe neighborhood, and super close to the beach. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amazing happy hour!!! 2 for one LARGE drinks. Definitely get your monies worth. Decent breakfast as well. Restaurant on site well-priced. Highly recommend.
