Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

National Park is just 100metres from the country house. The nearest airport is Tortuguero Airport, 3km from Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

He offered to pick us up from the bus station in PV even though our bus was delayed so much we arrived at nighttime. He made sure our stay was perfect and we even got to change our booking to the appartment with kitchen and stay more days. The view is amazing, we saw toucans from our balcony and when we walked from the place we saw various frogs we didnt even see at our night tour in Monte Verde. The appartment was very clean, the bed is as with any other double bed in CR, it is quite small for 2 large dutchies but we made it work and the AC was great. You have to get up a bit of a mountain to get there but with bikes/walking it worked fine for us. If you have a car that works great too. Taxis do get up there if you wish!
