Had a fantastic stay at Villa Carmo. Nilton and his son are so welcoming and kind. There was a delicious breakfast every morning with so much variety! It's also located in the perfect spot right next to the centro historico. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Salvador.
The Villa Bahia is such a special place, and their staff go the extra mile to make sure you feel equally as special from the moment you arrive. The buildings and rooms are immaculate and so chic, the location is beyond perfect, and the exceptional service is sure to make you feel right at home for the duration of your stay. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast--it was so nice to wake up with a fresh selection of delicious fruits, breads, and coffee every morning :)

Lovely colonial (renovated) villa - each room is named after a Portuguese colony together with the year it was colonised. Would definitely stay again here.
The villa has a great location, most friendly owner/manager and a nice feel of an old historical building. The rooms are spacious, and some have big balconies and seaviews. The breakfast was nice.
We had a wonderful time at Villa Carmo. The thoughtful owner Newton really puts in the extra effort to make you feel at home. Extensive breakfast is served at the balcony overlooking the water, which is a great way to start the day and explore the city of Salvador.
Most importantly, our host Nilton made us practically feel welcomed like family from the beginning on, when we arrived at Villa Carmo! He was very kind and helped us a lot during our stay in Salvador. The view during the breakfast is also one of the best in Salvador, as well as the breakfast of course.
This hotel is a great option for those who are looking for a calm area near Salvador. Just in front of the beach with a stunning view from the bedroom. Breakfast is perfect and the room is tidy and has everything you need. Swimming pool with a bar and restaurant gives a special touch to it. It is a bit far from Salvador city centre but you can get there in 20 minutes by taxi. If you like to spend time near the beach, Villa da Praia Hotel is the place for you to stay. Highly recommended!
