Sheffield
Houseboat Hotels offer a unique guest experience within fully equipped, static houseboats situated in Sheffield’s Victoria Quays. All fully heated boats are just a 5-minute walk from Sheffield city centre. A unique accommodation on a canal boat moored at a quay very near the city center. Quite fun! Spotlessly clean and run by a charming host. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, go elsewhere. But if you are in the mood for something different in a great location with all needs met, give this houseboat a try! There’s an easy to understand guide to the facilities on the boat. Included parking is right at the boat and directions to access are complete and simple. Nearby pubs and cafes. If you go, and you see owner Mark around the boats in the morning, talk to him! He is friendly with loads of stories and information and can tell you all about the boats. Our first visit to Sheffield, an interesting city with lots of history and many restaurants, pubs and historical sights. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay on Millie Grace. It was our first time staying on a houseboat and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was well organised from the info sent to us before our arrival and once on the boat. The boat was exceptionally comfortable and cosy, with a lot of attention to detail and customer comfort.
First time on a houseboat. Very clean and well equipped. Comfy beds. Would stay again.
House boat had everything you needed. It was so cosy and lovely for a few nights get away.
Excellent, quiet location, close to train station. Free car parking next to the houseboat. Well heated and well ventilated
Lovely house boat. Very well looked after and comfortable. Great location too!
The Houseboat was great, check in was straightforward and the location was perfect.
Very friendly and welcoming staff especially Julie? the manager. Location was perfect for us as we were in Gargrave to meet up with friends on a canal boat holiday and the Old Swan is a five minute walk to the canal. The food was excellent with a very good, varied menu. We were genuinely spoilt for choice! The hotel has recently been refurbished so the whole hotel felt fresh and clean. Very happy that the bedroom had a magnifying mirror as I had inadvertently left mine at home!
Well located, comfortable house boats make for an enjoyable alternative to local hotels. Well equipped and comfortable, and owner/staff were helpful and responsive to questions, and happy to set up for our particular requirements.
We loved our houseboat. It is spacious, clean and well laid out. Lovely small touches and details. I thoroughly enjoyed a sunrise coffee watching the ducks and water. Peaceful, tucked away location. Mark was friendly and helpful with our booking. We danced to the fab sound system ;)
