Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
The male host was very friendly, but there was a lack in communication on if you’re arriving riding by boat , you need to have a porter i.e. stranger take your luggage and carry it to your hotel. There’s 475 steps. I guess this is a common thing that happens in Capri, but we weren’t told. Finding the hotel was difficult, but once we got there, communication and breakfast directions were available.
Clean place.
We needed something close to the train station since we were in Florence only 15 hours. The staff was so helpful with looking up where we needed to go, figuring out the train station, and upgrading our room. Our room made us soooo happy after a long travel day coming from a vintage boat house in Greece. We appreciated how modern it was after we had lived a little like “camping” at our last stay. They also took care of our luggage from the room and to store it. Made us reservations at our restaurant as well. All very smoothly and efficiently.
Martha provided us with an incredibly warm welcome to Cinque Terre. She talked us through the top attractions, restaurants, and stores. She even went above and beyond and planned a personal boat tour for us. Highly recommend her home, Canto degli Aranci, for anyone looking for a spacious apartment, friendly host, and fantastic view!
