Really lovely apartment, ideal for two (plus our dog). Everything you could need was in the apartment though we ate out each day as the seafood restaurants in Sete are superb. We watched the fishing boats unload their catches and the restaurant vans coming to get the fresh fish, prawns etc and then these are served that night.

The host very nice, even tried a bit comunicate in English, but does not speak English. Flat and interior met our expectation, finished to high standart, good in size and clean.The flat is located on the third floor of the building located next to canal with a fantastic view overlooking canal with parking yachts. Short walk to main city area at one site and the Fisherman village at the other, about 50 minutes walk to the viewpoint at the top of the hill overlooking whole city.

The location was perfect. 10 minutes walk from the train station and only 5/10 minutes to an abundance of restaurants. Also it was lovely being able to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine overlooking the canal with all the small boats.

Location for exploring the town with its many seafood restaurants and boat trips. We could lock up our luggage before check in and the following day when we wanted to explore the town without baggage.

Location is excellent. Right on the Royal Canal. loved watching the huge fishing boats going in and out. Must have a canal-view room. staff were lovely. There is a private garage - a little expensive at 25 Euros a night BUT parking is difficult, so it’s well worth it. Many restaurants just yards from the front door. Breakfast very good.

Perfect for 2 people. Central location good for shops and restaurants. Fond memories of eating breakfast on the sunny balcony watching the boats and the world go by.Recommend a trip to Bouzigue for oysters and ice cream!

Le Grand Hotel is well-situated for enjoying the various attractions of Sete - the canals (by boat), Mont St Clair (bus), restaurants, cafes - or for using the railway station to explore the wider area. The hotel's rooms are arranged on several floors around a spacious grand atrium, which is used on the ground floor for breakfast. It has its own secure car park. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a convenient bathroom. The staff were pleasant, displaying varying degrees of helpfulness.

Very friendly and accommodating on check in and check out. Location is great, near the beach and restaurants. The little balcony is a treat, view of the quay and boats (past the car park!).
