The family's two dogs hangs out around the place, and are both super cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we experienced some sickness on our trip (not because of the bungalow), and we ended up spending a lot of time in our room. When we were better again, the staff was very helpful in arranging a boat tour for us. You will unlikely not find a much better place, even if you spend a bit more than here. Honestly, they could charge a bit more, and I would still be happy with the value. With that being said, the room does need a little more light, like a lamp by the bed, as you right now need to have all the lights in the room on at the same time, which is a bit much.

This affordable guesthouse is only a short 6 km drive from Phu Quoc International Airport. Tranh Waterfall is about 4 km away while Ham Ninh Fishing Village is only 300 metres away. It's a cheap guest house so there's no luxury facilities, but it's comfortable and the building has a nice charm. The level of service is what makes the place though. The family that runs the guest house are lovely, all very friendly and helpful, and speak good enough English to communicate (the son speaks very well and can help with anything). The food served here was amazing and very reasonably priced, for slightly more than a plate of street food you get a full meal with several sides & some fruit for dessert.

Situated within 100 metres of Cua Can Beach and 400 metres of Ong Lang Beach, Eco Lagoon offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Phu Quoc. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 8.3 km from Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Eco Lagoon is the piece of heaven in Phu Quoc, the oasis you need in the middle of the madness. The whole villa is unique, it has a special design, but what made us feel really good were the people who work there. I talked to Chau even before our first night's stay, she provided us with free transportation from the airport, and the driver waited for us and took us to the villa even though our flight was delayed by 3 hours. At the villa we were awaited with a delicious dinner, although it was very late, and all the days we stayed there we decided to have dinner because it was great every time and we simply left ourselves in the hands of the people there who cooked great and gave us a Michelin star restaurant experience. Not to mention the lagoon in which the villa is located, in which you can go kayaking, with which you can reach the beach by the sea, where you can see the fishermen who spread their nets and who fish day and night, where you can admire a sunset spectacular. Chau and all the staff made our stay a very pleasant one, we felt like children being looked after by their parents. Thank you for all your care and for the fact that we could experience such a unique accommodation!
