It’s a lovely family run place, the hotel is super chill compared to the Main Street that’s a few minutes away. The rooms are clean, especially the washroom and there’s a shared balcony thing where we got to have breakfast and it’s so peaceful in the morning. And they have these adorable cats and free water refill station. And the family that runs it are very welcoming. I would really recommend staying the night here to really enjoy jiufen at night see all the beautiful lanterns glowing without the crowds!

The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

He gave us restaurant recommendations and directions for several hikes. The property is close to a mountain so it is quite fresh and the little terrace is lovely to enjoy in the morning or evening. Breakfast was quite standard but still ok.

Small room but perfect for me, one person, but two people would be comfortable as well. Beautiful old neighborhood if you like older style Taiwanese homes. Owner was friendly and very accommodating. Location was great for visiting the famous Juifen Old Street…only two minutes walking time. Be sure to get the breakfast supplied by the B&B…delicious! Simple but tasty. Parking is in a very small parking area and the road to it was narrow and only one car can fit on the road. This parking area was free and the other was pay. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The property offers allergy-free units and is situated 34 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area. Breakfast was delicious! Loved the sprouts, and the eggplant. Very good spread, and really good Oriental Beauty tea as well. Room was super clean and comfortable. L'Occitane bath products were awesome! Overall room was extremely relaxing with great view, agree with another reviewer who said that some of the best views are from the BnB so I didn't need to eat in town often - just brought food back and relaxed, read a book and enjoyed the views.
