At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. What an absolutely amazing place! Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

VERY comfy bed with quality sheets in an large room with a bar size frig, microwave, toaster and plenty of dishes. Easy walking all around town.

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Nelson is 28 km from Redwood Valley B & B. The nearest airport is Nelson Airport, 23 km from the property. Facilities were great. Our room was fresh, tidy and comfortable. Attention to detail was amazing throughout the property. Breakfast was also better than expected - freshly baked banana bread was super yummy.

Situated on 25 acres it offers views of Waimea Estuary, Mt Arthur ranges and farmland. Mapua and Richmond are both 8 minutes' drive away.

All room types are separate and private; however guests have access to shared areas such as a kitchen, BBQ, laundry and outdoor entertainment areas. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!
