Situated a few steps from Kaiteriteri Beach, Kaiteriteri Retreat offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a shared lounge. Room on the top floor with a great view of the beach and access to a lounge was ideal. We were both exhausted and just wanted to slow down - waking up to a continental breakfast with an hour to chill with amazing views in a very comfortable guest lounge was the way to do it. The hosts are knowledgable and happy to help. A great location which we used as a base to explore the north of South Island. Only a 10 minute drive to the start of trails in Abel Tasman and easy to access Farewell Spit, Nelson, Picton & Blenheim.

Easy access in a great location, comfy beds and friendly helpful host. Loved the coffee machine and view on the balcony. Kids loved the big lounge and own private parking made loading and unloading easy.
Great location, Scott was super friendly and very attentive. The place was very clean and nice to have outdoor private space. The location of the hot tub was also a bonus, with Mountain View’s in the background. The lodge is within walking distance of the facilities in marahau so a nice break from driving. The lodge can also provide a packed lunch and breakfast if needed which was helpful for hiking days.

The apartment, location, facilities everything was stunning! Minutes away from the golden beaches, quiet private, absolutely wonderful.
Stayed in one of the 3 quiet, peaceful, clean, comfortable, and nicely renovated chalets in this beautiful, private setting. Nice hot shower, handy kitchenette and parking right next to the chalet. Lovely, welcoming hosts. Really enjoyed our pleasant stay. Short walks to cafe/diners and to the start of Abel Tasman walk. Can highly recommend. Great value. Will definitely be back :)
