Staff were very helpful and kind during the stay! Beautiful town!!

The centre of Joure is just over a 5-minute drive from Cecilia - Catharina B&B. Heerenveen can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The bed and breakfast is less than 20 minutes’ drive away from Sneek. Free parking is available on site. Wonderful hosts. A beautiful rural setting on a working dairy farm. Central to Friesland lakes and countryside. Immaculately presented with 4 ensuite rooms leading on to individual terraces and a lawned garden. A cooked breakfast prepared for each of us based on our choices; plus a lovely selection of cereals, fresh fruit, breads, cold meats - perfect! Tea and coffee making facilties in our room was a welcome surprise. Ample parking for cars. Nothing was too much trouble.

Buffet Breakfast - quite ok. Room quiet, but handy for Car park as french window opened out onto it.
Great location. Easy check in. Very comfortable bed. Eventhough the toilet and shower were not part of the room, they were shared with only 1 another room (there was always shared 1 bathroom for 2 rooms) so there was not an issue of a queue. Everything was super clean. Very close to main gracht

The Pension is located in Koudun, close to city center. There is private parking for about 6 cars and public one nearby.. There is covered place when You can store bicycles. Shops, restaurants in walking distance. Family apartment was clean and tidy. Fully equipped kitchen. Interesting design with few old, recovered items. Our apartment was accessible by outside stairs.
The house is very cozy, absolutely charming, nicely decorated and allows you to spend great times with your family. It‘s right in Balk‘s center with nice shops and restaurants in walking distance. Finding a parking spot just next to the house has never been an issue. Balk has a charming city center with a variety of shops and you‘re perfectly located to explore Friesland.
