Tastefully decorated/furnished; it was completely relaxing, which was what we needed on a taxing cycle holiday. The nearest restaurant/bar is about 5 miles away but we were aware of this so only an observation. The host was excellent, as was our breakfast. Recommended.

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and having a private sauna to use daily was lovely. The owners were also super friendly and helpful. It was quiet which was what we wanted, but shops and anything else close by with the car.

A great place to stay, across the train station of Leeuwarden, close to the city center, we enjoyed the comfort of the room, the bed was great, the cleanliness exceptional, the breakfast abundant with lots of fruit and vegetables, dairy and non-dairy options, a nice spacious lobby with many quiet corners... The chalet was wonderful, with a great location only 50 m behind the sea defences. There was plenty of space for the four of us. The location was very quiet, with nice neighbours and a few tourists walking past. The rooms were big. We were within one hour of many great places- Harlingen, Hinderloopen, Franaker, and a great local bakery in Tzummarum.
Great location in the centre of this quiet, cosy northern town. Parking nearly in front. Nice room, good beds, good bathroom, friendly staff. No airco but window open at night was no problem, no traffic. Excellent Thai food at 100 m, and several bars in 2 minutes walk.
Very nice and well equiped B&B. Located at walking distance from Leeuwarden center, in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. The owners are really freindly and the breakfast is fantastic. There's a private parking spot right in front.
