The owner was so helpful with suggestions and tips prior to our arrival and the staff looking after the lodge were so friendly, very helpful and extremely customer focused. I would highly recommend the lodge.

The tatami mats, sliding doors, and comfortable futon beds provided an immersive experience into Japanese culture. Additionally, the small homemade breakfast served at Shioriya was a delightful start to each day, featuring fresh ingredients and a personal touch that made it feel like a comforting meal prepared with love.
