We had a great stay at Casa Kamakura, which is located close to the beach. Yuka-San and Suu-San are exceptional hosts. The house is decorated with a lot of love for details and many cool things to see. We will definitely stay here again if we are back to Japan.

The staff are friendly and kind. The room and bed are comfortable. The entire guesthouse is very clean. We had a greate time chatting with other travelers around the irori.

Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a bath and bidet, with slippers and free toiletries provided. This is an amazing place in the beautiful Hakone mountains that we will for sure once visit again. There are restaurants and shops in a walking distance. We got a cosy, clean, comfortable and spacious room that we liked it very much! The owners are wonderful people that do everything to make your stay pleasant. They are super helpful in anything you might need or ask. Navigating their guests in the Hakone area is something they do with love and even we stayed only one night we could still manage to enjoy the different sides of Hakone. Since it started raining when we were checking out, the owner offered us a ride to our next destination. This is one of the best accommodation experiences I have had and I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Hakone.

Located just steps from Yuigahama Beach, 女性専用 Inn By The Sea Kamakura - Women's Guesthouse is a cosy guesthouse-style inn featuring Japanese-style guest rooms with free WiFi access. Hase Station on the Enoden Line is a 3-minute walk away, while Kamakura's Great Buddha can be reached in 10 minutes. Hase Dera Temple and Goryo Shrine are both a 5-minute walk away, while Enoshima is an 18-minute train ride away. Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine is 25-minutes away on foot. The experience at this accommodation will be something I'll never forget. I left my passport at the Hakone hotel, but the host made a proactive effort to resolve the issue. Thanks to the incredibly kind couple, we were fortunately able to solve the problem and focus on our trip in Hakone. Being very close to Hase Station made it convenient to go anywhere. It was also near the sea, so I was very happy walking along the seaside path in the morning. The location, space, and hosts were all excellent. The spacious room and the bed from which the sea was visible were also amazing. Although the bathroom was outside, it was convenient because we were the only ones using it. Being able to take a bath was really nice. They brewed coffee in the morning, and the smell of the coffee was wonderful. The next day, it rained a lot and we were flustered without an umbrella, but they offered us their own umbrella. Thanks to their kindness until the last moment, I leave Hase with warm memories. I sincerely thank you.

A recently renovated property, Japanese Modern Inn 鎌倉楽庵ハナレ is situated in Kamakura near Yuigahama Beach, Zaimokuza Beach. Among the facilities at this property are luggage storage space and bicycle parking, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms. The location of this inn was very convenient as it was close to the main attractions, food, and the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and gave us recommendations around the area as well. Three of us stayed at the inn and there was more than enough space for us. The room was very clean and we were provided with amenities and the option to purchase drinks at the cafe & bar. I would stay here again if I came to Kamakura again!

The owners of the guest house are a lovely couple who provided amazing support and assistance when my boyfriend got sick with food poisoning. They helped us call a taxi and find a hospital for treatment. Their kindness really made a difficult situation easier to handle. We will always be grateful for their hospitality and care during our stay at their guest house. The guest house had the perfect location, just a short walk from the beach and close to all the main attractions in Kamakura. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a traditional Japanese feel that added to the overall experience of staying in Kamakura. I can't wait to go back and stay at the same guest house again - it truly made our trip unforgettable.

The property is located 4.3 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, 22 km from Sankeien and 23 km from Yokohama Marine Tower. The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.9 km from Yuigahama Beach. Overall speaking our stay was fantastic. We read the comments before we booked and expected a good stay. We know the transport is a concern but we drive, so it isn’t an issue. (See below for more about parking) Yet, it is still out of our expectations. We enjoyed so much in the quiet and harmony environment! We spent 4 days 3 nights here. We appreciate the services, food and environment. Places are clean, neat and tidy. The host Rin-san is very detailed and helpful. Its location is a distance from the town; so it is quiet. Originally we planned for long days in nearby towns and tourist locations, and thought that it is just a place for bath and sleep. We didn’t book for additional meals (only booked a dinner on the first night because we would arrive late). Later on we changed our mind and booked the breakfast for day 3 and 4 so that we can enjoyed and relaxed more. Both the dinner and 2x breakfast were wonderful: good variety, delicious, well garnished, and good price! Next to it is a large park. On day 3 we shortened our day tour and went back early. We jogged for an hour and then bought some beer and light meal as our day-3-dinner. The sunset was wonderful. We just sat outdoor, had some snack and chat. An hour easily passed. There were a few email interactions before we checked in. Rin-san explained everything we need and reserved a parking space for us. He replied our questions promptly and arranged everything as requested. We had no difficulty locating the House except that we didn’t expect the condition of the small road towards the House was so poor. In fact Rin-san had explained to us in the email. The road was under construction. We then moved our car to the House another parking space on day 2 morning. It’s just 2 minutes walk and is next to the park we mentioned above. Rin-san drove us there. The arrangement was great. I can’t probably write everything here.
