At the guest house guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. Guests at Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- will be able to enjoy activities in and around Gora, like hiking. We loved our stay at the Asante Inn. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and very helpful with local recommendations. We had a private room for 2 (picture included), as well as a single bed in the female dorm (for my sister-in-law). We all opted for the Japanese breakfast each day, which was prepared beautifully and was fantastic. Our room was on the lower level, right next to the mini workout area (a stationary bike, as well as some other machine), which had a massage chair. The massage chair was incredible, and much needed after a long day of hiking. We loved the private onsen with signups. They have a left (larger) and right (smaller) onsen which can be both be reserved in 40 minute increments using a signup on the main floor. Signups are for 16:00-22:30 (8 signups, 2 onsens, so 16 different reservations a day). The onsens can be used on a first come first served basis in the mornings as well. We also went to a local japanese restaurant near the bottom of the hill (not far from the bus stop) which was an incredible experience within a few minutes walking from the hotel.

We had a great stay at Casa Kamakura, which is located close to the beach. Yuka-San and Suu-San are exceptional hosts. The house is decorated with a lot of love for details and many cool things to see. We will definitely stay here again if we are back to Japan.

Really nice and spacious stay and the bar/common area was clean and well maintained. Loved my stay here. Not far from bus stop.

Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a bath and bidet, with slippers and free toiletries provided. This is an amazing place in the beautiful Hakone mountains that we will for sure once visit again. There are restaurants and shops in a walking distance. We got a cosy, clean, comfortable and spacious room that we liked it very much! The owners are wonderful people that do everything to make your stay pleasant. They are super helpful in anything you might need or ask. Navigating their guests in the Hakone area is something they do with love and even we stayed only one night we could still manage to enjoy the different sides of Hakone. Since it started raining when we were checking out, the owner offered us a ride to our next destination. This is one of the best accommodation experiences I have had and I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Hakone.

Located just steps from Yuigahama Beach, 女性専用 Inn By The Sea Kamakura - Women's Guesthouse is a cosy guesthouse-style inn featuring Japanese-style guest rooms with free WiFi access. Hase Station on the Enoden Line is a 3-minute walk away, while Kamakura's Great Buddha can be reached in 10 minutes. Hase Dera Temple and Goryo Shrine are both a 5-minute walk away, while Enoshima is an 18-minute train ride away. Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine is 25-minutes away on foot. The experience at this accommodation will be something I'll never forget. I left my passport at the Hakone hotel, but the host made a proactive effort to resolve the issue. Thanks to the incredibly kind couple, we were fortunately able to solve the problem and focus on our trip in Hakone. Being very close to Hase Station made it convenient to go anywhere. It was also near the sea, so I was very happy walking along the seaside path in the morning. The location, space, and hosts were all excellent. The spacious room and the bed from which the sea was visible were also amazing. Although the bathroom was outside, it was convenient because we were the only ones using it. Being able to take a bath was really nice. They brewed coffee in the morning, and the smell of the coffee was wonderful. The next day, it rained a lot and we were flustered without an umbrella, but they offered us their own umbrella. Thanks to their kindness until the last moment, I leave Hase with warm memories. I sincerely thank you.

A recently renovated property, Japanese Modern Inn 鎌倉楽庵ハナレ is situated in Kamakura near Yuigahama Beach, Zaimokuza Beach. Among the facilities at this property are luggage storage space and bicycle parking, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms. The location of this inn was very convenient as it was close to the main attractions, food, and the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and gave us recommendations around the area as well. Three of us stayed at the inn and there was more than enough space for us. The room was very clean and we were provided with amenities and the option to purchase drinks at the cafe & bar. I would stay here again if I came to Kamakura again!

The property features garden and inner courtyard views, and is 1.4 km from Zaimokuza Beach. The guest house has family rooms. The owners of the guest house are a lovely couple who provided amazing support and assistance when my boyfriend got sick with food poisoning. They helped us call a taxi and find a hospital for treatment. Their kindness really made a difficult situation easier to handle. We will always be grateful for their hospitality and care during our stay at their guest house. The guest house had the perfect location, just a short walk from the beach and close to all the main attractions in Kamakura. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a traditional Japanese feel that added to the overall experience of staying in Kamakura. I can't wait to go back and stay at the same guest house again - it truly made our trip unforgettable.
