Although with our last minute booking and only one night stay, the hosts welcomed us and treated greatly — delicious breakfast, useful tips for discovering area (based on them, we decided to change our itinerary and was absolutely worth it!) The room itself is recently renovated, the interior displays historical elements, and provides everything that is necessary for the stay. Definitely would like to highlight the cleanness and careful care of the guests. Highly recommending!

Location: The B&B is located right next to the famous Purple Heart Lane and the Dead man's corner. Less than 20 minutes drive to Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Isigny-sur-Mer, Carentan and in the walk distance of the church of Angoville-au-Plain. B&B: This bed and breakfast has an interesting history in WW2, some serious fighting was done in the area. The owner is very kind and helpful, she is always available for questions and excited to share her knowledge and the history of this B&B and the surrounding area in the World War 2 era. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very quiet in the evening. We had a great view of the front courtyard and the back garden. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean, it beats even some 3 stars hotels that I've stayed in in the past. The breakfast was delicious with fresh baked bread and different sorts of French cheeses. We even had some homemade crêpes on the first day! The breakfast room was also decorated in various WW2 items. Overall, we had a great stay at this B&B and look forward to returning in the future! 👍

Two weeks in France and this was one of my favorite spots! Peaceful night in this quiet town. La Suite is beautiful, comfortable, and breakfast was well worth the 12 Euros. I would definitely recommend LA Suite and would stay there again.

Lovely accommodations in an old historic home in rural France. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the host couple were very kind and gracious. We arrived later than originally expected and they were very accommodating. They invited us for a drink and some pleasant conversation upon arrival which was very nice. The breakfast they provide each morning was great. My 14 year old son, who can be very hard to please, really enjoyed talking to the hosts and we all loved their little dog Pims.

The bed and breakfast has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. This place was truly exceptional. When we drove up, it felt like something out of a fairy tale - the estate, the grounds, the gardens, the (very well behaved) 4 footed greeting party. The winding forest path you drive down to reach the main house is carpeted with these delicate pink violets. It was amazing. Our room was HUGE. It looked out over the gorgeous back of the property and to the farmers fields beyond. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom was large, recently remodeled and very modern. The style of the whole place had a beautiful, comfortable curated feel about it. The whole house felt filled with light. The breakfast could be taken in the dining room or outside on the huge terrace. The European style breakfast was plentiful - with several different kinds of bread and pastries and multiple types of jams/marmalades. The coffee was really good. The hosts, Laurent and Christine could not have possibly been more hospitable. For us, they were the very best part of our stay. Charming and friendly, they made us feel very welcome and we cannot wait to come back. This place was a GREAT value for our money.
