We stayed at the Refúgio for a weekend and we were the only guests on the site. Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!

Great location in the historic city center of Manaus, just a very short walk to the Amazonas Theatre; very friendly and helpful staff; very clean, spacious and well-equipped room with a powerful air conditioning and a fridge to cool beverages; very good breakfast.
The hostel was on a great location right next to the main square, they offered breakfast (to be paid for) which was a great extra it filled us up before our long days. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and welcoming and helped us when something went wrong. They even store luggage while you are away doing Amazon tours.
Charming colonial house converted to boutique hotel, with beautiful decor (particularly in the common areas). We arrived at 6am and they let us check in as soon as the room was ready after having some delicious breakfast.

Very charming place with an extraordinary interior design and a marvelous atmosphere. I mean we are in Manaus and anyone who knows the surroundings understands that a Boutique Hotel here is somewhat different from other climate zones. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the super friendly staff and the fantastic neighborhood.
Casa Perpetua is a very charming property, with good looks, efficient room service, tasty breakfast, helpful staff and GREAT location just by the Opera House, without charging the excessive amounts other places do in this area.
Staff on the reception speak good English, which was rare case during my Brazil journey. They are polite and helpful. I've got a room on 13th floor with breathtaking view to the city. Room was big and clean, with big and comfy bed. Great location in the city center. Various and tasty breakfast. WiFi was stable and fast.
