Turns out I just missed the email that was sent with instructions on where the keys were and we could let ourselves in. We were the only ones there for that night but they still offered to make breakfast for us if we needed it and were super nice. The room is cozy and we had a great view of the mountains from our balcony. In the room is a folder with a lot of info on the hotel and restaurants, hikes, sights, etc that are around which was nice. You could technically walk into town or to a close supermarket, but it was so cold so we drove into town to get some food.

The owners are both very nice and warm and are willing to help you with everything. They’re very welcoming and caring. Amazing hosts. Breakfast was delicious. You can taste that the products are fresh and local. It is definitely worth visiting. We are absolutely stunned.

All rooms come with a patio with views of the river. the room and bathroom are spacious. Nice and quiet place, the garden from our deck gives you a tranquil feeling. Great breakfast. Heidi and Hubert are super nice. we enjoyed that they have bikes to rent for a ride to Hallstatt. One night is not enough. there’s so much to do in this area.

It is accessable with public transport (bus stops in front of the guesthouse). Also, convenient to visit Hallstatt (5 min by bus). The restaurant has a great chef and food was delicious 😋. I enjoyed my breakfast with a beautiful view of Alpes. The room was a fairytale looking, spacious with a comfort beyond imagination. The view from my room was breathtaking. Also, would like to thank hosts for such an amazing hospoitaltiy. It was amazing to stay there!

The property is non-smoking and is set 1.3 km from Museum Hallstatt. Had a great comfortable stay. The host was extremely polite and helpful. The host did everything to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast served was exceptional. Would recommend to anyone :)

Offering a restaurant with a terrace and a café as well as free Wi-Fi, Pension Cafe zum Mühlbach is located in the centre of Hallstatt, 800 metres from the Salzbergbahn Cable Car and the public swimming lake Hallstätter See and a 20-minute drive from Bad Ischl Thermal Bath. I like this pension so much, the owner is very nice and warm, they give me a small gift that really warm my heart, and the room is very nice with balcony, location very well.
