Vinnie and Sarah have a beautiful home overlooking farm land. The gardens that Sarah maintains are beautiful. You are welcomed with snacks and true "Southern Hospitality." The home is near Geraldine, NZ. Beautiful town. We truly enjoyed our stay ❤️.

its a place for those looking for peacefulness and time away from busy life. It has everything you needed to entertain yourself from relaxing (nice comfy bed and big bathtub with good window view and also relaxing in their nice big gardens) to books, puzzles, DVDs and you can also connect to the google chrome cast to watch Netflix etc. Breakfast is included and hosts are happy to catered to your needs. which I requested to no pork meal and they happily accomodate to it. Both hosts are friendly. Panoramic view of the hills and mountain peaks. The stay was indeed so good that I extended for another night.

Waikonini Homestead is a treat. Go there if you want to be in beautiful country surroundings and have a glimpse into what life may have been like in New Zealand many years ago. It's not often you will have the chance to stay in a heritage listed building in impeccable condition. Mary is a fabulous host. Highlights include one of the most beautiful staircases I have ever seen and had the pleasure to walk up, breakfast in a beautiful conservatory and lovely bedrooms looking out into a country garden as well as up to the mountains.
