The Mirano train station is quite nearby (a local shuttle bus is available almost outside the door of the B&B) and from there travellers can reach many destinations such as Padua, Verona, etc. Stella, the hostess, is very helpful and goes out of her way to give lots of useful information. There is also an outdoor terrace where guests can sit and relax with nice views of trees in the distance. The B&B is also good value for money.

The property is off the main east-west highway near Venice but nestled in a quiet little village. Perfect for those travelling from Milan eastward. Thirty minutes south lies Venice. The attendant was very helpful in pointing out suitable places to grab a late dinner. Salzano itself was a clean and lovely village. We had the family room which had a queen sized bed, a double hideaway, and a single hideaway. Nice vaulted ceilings, small refrigerator, plenty of lighting. It also had a large private bathroom with shower, bidet, sink, and commode. A small but nice breakfast consisting of ham, cheese, croissant, cold cereal, and coffee/tea/juice, is served from 730 to 1000. I nice way to start the day.
