Dave the general manager advised us 2 days before our stay that the old management had left, and they would not be able to provide an evening meal and breakfast, for the night and morning of our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful quiet location.

The Staff were very helpful, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the price included breakfast and this was also good. Considering the weather, the room temperature was good too.

Everything- beautiful facilities, ultra clean, warm and a very helpful host
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Large room very clean. Large comfortable clean bed. Large comfy sofa. I requested a room at the end of the coridoor so as not to be disturbed by other guests walking passed, and the hotel obliged. The room was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep. They provide a wall heater if it's too cold, and a fan if it's too hot. Free parking. Good Wi Fi. Good simple self serve continental breakfast included in the cheap price. Even use of the microwave any time if you wanted a microwave meal in the evening.
Just about everything. Debbie is an outstandingly good host. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would strongly recommend The Hollies to anyone visiting Uppingham, which is a charming small town.
Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location for a break away. A small but good selection of local pubs and restaurants. Also well located for walks at Rutland Water.
Its a basic if slightly dated hotel, i stay at often when passing. Its cheap, its clean, the staff are pleasant and the small continental buffet in the morning hits the spot for a bit of toast fruit and juice in the morning. Its not 5 star luxury and they don’t charge the prices of it either. Always reasonably priced.
Everything really, but certainly the kindness of the hostess who was so helpful.
Uppingham is a great little town and even though the property was on the high street, it was quiet.
Everything about the decor of the house was charming and the fresh home made breakfasts were a treat.
Do avail yourself of the two course evening meal for only £15 a head.
The Hollies BnB was exceptional in all ways. The location on the high street in Uppingham was quiet and convenient for all my needs. My room was fully equipped with all that I required and beautifully decorated. My bedroom and ensuite were spotless, as was the rest of the house. The breakfast was delicious and filling, fuelling me every morning ready for my busy days. My dietary concerns were taken into account and the options supplied were excellent. Debbie is a great host who made me feel welcome and comfortable in her charming home.
