Parkin House exceeded our expectations in every way! The home and guest rooms were beautiful and well-appointed. The host is a wonderful cook! Our breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the hills was like eating in a 5-star restaurant. We look forward to returning to the area so we can enjoy Parkin House for more than one night!

Beautiful house, one mile walk along the canal towpath from Todmorden. We booked a double with a lovely view across the canal to the hillside beyond. Beautiful bright & quirky decor. The bathroom was shared, but there is an additional toilet, so no problems arose. The bath/shower was excellent, with an easily operated shower (always good news!). The bedroom itself was small, but comfortable, with tea/coffee aplenty, & a lovely comfy bed. There is a shelf on the landing with a great selection of books. Breakfast was sensational! Our hosts were wonderful, making sure that we both had exactly what we needed. Probably the friendliest B&B I've ever stayed at ☺️ The garden would have been made available to us, had the weather been better...

Absolutely huge room with a lot of attention to detail, this was definitely a boutique experience with nice touches such as complimentary pastries on offer. Location was really nice and the continental breakfast was rich, varied, and plentiful. The self check-in worked flawlessly and communications from the hotel were good. Excellent Thai restaurant opposite the place too. Would definitely stay here again!

Cosy, characterful and really well designed. It's "a bedroom" but it's actually completely self contained. Immaculately clean. There's enough cutlery etc and a fridge to store and make breakfast but you don't need to rent a whole cottage with kitchen in Hebden anyway because you night as well go out for dinner (would recommend the Trades Club). Very easy walk from the train and 2 minutes from town centre.

Fantastic food, so good that we also ate there both evenings of our stay. Exceptional quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Great choice and specials. Good prices. The term Pub Food in no way does it justice. The staff and service were fabulous. Large car park and bus stops literally across the road. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend it.
