The room was beautifully clean and well-equipped with plentiful supplies of tea, coffee etc. The view from the room of the river was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully cooked and plenty of it. Both Noreen and her husband are great hosts; very thoughtful and kind.

Very well appointed room, at a good price in a good location. The price can be cheaper than the Travelodge and the rooms are much better, so we usually compare before booking. We were in Room 102, lovely room which overlooks the rear, so very quiet.

Very comfortable room, and remarkably, bearing in mind City centre location very quiet overnight. The £10 per day parking fee is very reasonable considering the convenience and town centre parking charges.

Great very large room and bathroom, with huge shower and separate bath! Was clean and comfortable, also very quiet considering we were above the pub. Great location in the high street with lots to do.

Very well designed, constructed and featured room. Very comfortable and unusually quiet! Breakfast and dinner as you would expect from Wetherspoons. Not cordon bleu, straight forward grub and budget prices. Beer excellent, again as you would expect from Wetherspoons. No parking is available on site but there is a long term 24 hour Council car park about 8 minutes walk away, costing £6.50 per day (when we were there). But more unless you leave before 07:00 hrs. Still pretty cheap. You can drive to the front of the hotel and drop bags.

A charming old hotel, privately run at a great location. I stayed for 5 nights. The hotel doesn’t have AC but each room has a fan and that was enough. You get complimentary coffee, tea and milk in your room.

This hotel is charming and in the perfect location to explore the Rochester area. It is quiet, the rooms are comfy and clean. This is an old building, and privately run, and with that in mind, it is in excellent condition. But it won't be perfect, and I would encourage visitors to have reasonable expectations. If you do, this is a more than satisfying place to stay. Also, the breakfast was delicious and the dining room is lovely.

Great location, pleasant staff, quaint old historic building, extremely cheap. Is this The Ritz? Absolutely not. But for the £40 I paid, it was a bed, a shower, a TV, a toilet and tea and coffee. It does the job for the price, nothing more.
