Beautifully presented accommodation and a warm welcome. Personally I couldn't fault anything. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade yogurt and compots. . Torches were supplied for our evening walk. We had the added bonus of beautiful Christmas decorations. Definitely will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The owner, Su, was charming and nothing was too much trouble - she even got up to do us breakfast at 7am on the Saturday of our stay as we had to leave at 7.30am. She’d also thought about it being a very warm day and instead of a duvet had swapped the bedding to a sheet and two thin blankets to be more flexible for us - but if this hadn’t been okay, I know she’d have changed back to a duvet.

Nayland is a very charming location with many historical buildings dating from the 15th century. Many are timber frame and other types of listed buildings that make a walk around the village a delight. Our accommodation was in a self contained cabin with access to a private garden that backed onto the river. It was relaxing to sit outside and watch the fish in the river and all the wildlife, very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was cooked to order with a good selection. The Host was friendly and helpful. We had a relaxing 3 night stay.

Quaint romantic snug little cabin hideaway in Su's lovely garden, with seats at the bottom of the garden, overlooking a little river to wile away the evenings, where we spotted a kingfisher! Su:s gave us a warm welcome, and could not do enough to make sure we were happy and well catered for! An overall extremely enjoyable relaxing break in a gorgeous and scenic little village. Good pub in walking distance does evening meals
