OMG where do I start. Ashley and Alan are the beyond the perfect hosts. From the first greeting, to the last farewell I cannot express how much we loved our stay. From the cream tea in the garden to the completely sherry in the room to the awesome breakfast. These little touches just stick in your mind and make the stay so special. The rooms are exquisite and are beautifully decorated to a high standard. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you once again Alan and Ashley. From Julie and Carl.

The location was great in an area I knew well. Libby was very welcoming and everything was clean and worked and felt comfortable. All in a quiet and peaceful location, not far from the small town of Kirkbymoorside. Rosegarth was so different from the hotels I normally stay in; no officialdom, no lugging of cases along corridors (and seemingly always the end room) no being 'one of a hundred'.

Delicious and generous breakfast, we had supper from the available supper menu too which was also delicious home cooked food. Really great value too. Libby is a really nice host and anticipated our needs perfectly. The room was absolutely beautiful as was the view. Immaculately clean and a really good setup. Really handy location for walking, flamingoland, castle howard and my favourite of all; peace and quiet with an excellent view. We were very happy.
