The Governor's House at The Tanyard, hotel in Lacock

Located in Lacock, the recently renovated The Governor's House at The Tanyard provides accommodation 400 metres from Lacock Abbey and 22 km from The Circus Bath.

What a Golden Find, an absolute beautiful property, furnished beautifully, delightfully decorated bedroom, with a lovely four poster bed, luxurious bed linen. Including fresh huge fluffy towels, dressing gowns, and all facilities needed for a beautiful hot shower. TV has all channels, with Netflix, Disney and ITV X etc. Fresh Full cream milk provided with choice of teas, coffees, biscuits, and wine, beer, Coke, Sprite and mineral water provided via a fridge for a small extra cost. Free parking, the House is literally right in the centre of the village, which is such a great help, as parking in Lacock Village can be difficult and restricted at busy times. Breakfast was a freshly baked Continental with Preserves, Natural Yogurt and Granola. Morning two, was fresh toasted sour dough, with delicious free range scrambled egg and baked beans. Each evening we sat outside in our own private courtyard and our host, Rufus, would build us a fire, provide cushions and blankets, and plenty of fire wood to replenish. Rufus and his family are the perfect hosts, and literally nothing is to much trouble, and we shall definitely be back in a heart beat!

Norbin Farm, hotel in Lacock

Set in the Wiltshire countryside, Norbin Farm offers rooms and self-catering units with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast ingredients are provided daily.

What a lovely host and awesome place to stay at! Perfect accommodation and another extremely comfortable bed during my vacation, I picked the perfect Farm to stay. The fridge was not nicely stocked with fresh products and ingredients for breakfasts for my stay but also fresh fruit basket and bread provided. Gill was very welcoming and helpful with information about local sightseeing places etc., I even ended up at „Harry Potter“ filming locations. Thanks for a memorable stay!!!

Heritage Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Lacock

Heritage Bed and Breakfast is set in Calne and features a courtyard garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available.

We arrived an hour earlier than we anticipated. The property was not as it appears on the photo, we were disappointed by the very busy location. Parking was difficult, it's on a main road and the few spaces were full. There was no-one at the property anyway, so we left a message on the intercom and returned later. On return the owner was abrupt, saying I'm very busy 'you booked late, you're lucky to get a space, we are full up'. Then 'If you want breakfast you need to tell me now what you want' . Bear in mind this was only 4pm. We had booked late due to a bereavement. My wife was upset by the attitude. Our stay was a complete mistake.

Rosie's a great host and made my stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Lovely comfy bed and lots of thoughtful extra touches. Excellent breakfast - buffet (with home-made preserves) plus either: full English (or any part of it) or beautiful scrambled eggs with salmon.

Great location in Lacock with free parking onsite. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There were 3 built in USB charging points in the room which was nice. The Pub closes early so it was very quiet at bedtime. The pub is a lovely old country pub with open wood fires. Great selection of beers. We had an evening meal there as well which was very nice and the staff were very warm, friendly and provided excellent service.
