Delkeith is a delightful family run B&B in the heart of keswick surrounded by rolling hills and only a couple of minutes walk to the town. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, and the homemade flapjack left in our room was a beautiful touch. A fabulous stay, and we would definitely visit again.

You will be lucky if you can find a better hotel in Keswick. Spotlessly clean, great facilities and attention to even the smallest details. A wonderfully comfortable bed and a great breakfast. The owners are lovely, friendly hosts to whom nothing is too much trouble. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast was amazing. Lovely fresh fruit salad followed by huge cooked breakfast. As a previous review mentioned-the best black pudding! Cereal and yoghurt were provided for those who could fit it in. It was easy to walk into town and down to the lake from the property. My room was a very spacious single-much roomier than others I have stayed in. Anne and Paul were great hosts and I appreciated a late checkout to fit in with my travel plans.

We really enjoyed our stay in Winchester House, our hosts (Debbie and Ian) were very friendly. Their Cumbrian breakfast was very tasty and made from products from local farmers. We had a beautiful view on Skiddaw. We also very appreciated a drying room when we got wet on one of our walking trip. The hosts regularly topped up tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. We also liked that there was shared fridge in a dining room where guests could store their owned food.
