Salisbury Guest House is a wonderful place to stay for visiting Keswick. The location is ideal, a 5 min walk to the town centre. The house is very homely, the room was extremely clean with plenty of storage space in the room and in the large ensuite bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with ample additional warm covers if needed.
The room was also very quiet considering the house was fully booked at the time we stayed. There is a Tele union dvd player in the room with a large collection of dvds to choose from. Alternatively, a good collection of books is also there for the guest's enjoyment.
The included breakfast was generous and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
Additionally, the house is dog friendly which was important to us.
Most of all, the hosts were fantastic, welcoming and helpful.
We had a lovely stay and will definitely go back in future.

Luxury in the lakes, large room, comfy bed and lots of hot water for bathing tired limbs. Fantastic food and attentive friendly staff. We felt really spoiled and looked after. The view from the dining room was fantastic too. We sat in the garden in mild October and enjoyed the views after our days walking.

Lovely, cosy guesthouse. Exceptionally clean and excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely and included in the price. There was onsite parking, which was snug but fit 5 cars and there's on-street parking just outside as well. We arrived early and asked if we could leave the car there until check-in time, which they were happy with. Very short walk into Keswick and we used it as a base for climbing Catbells (via the ferry). We love Keswick.
The location is superb, right next door to Booths supermarket and the buses. The town centre on your door step. The lake only a short walk away. The location combined the ease of the town with easy access to countryside by foot. Although there was no parking with this flat, Booths provides 1 hour free parking to unload your gear, and then you can use one of the car parks nearby FOC as the host has arranged for a parking permit for the duration of the stay.
The flat was also very clean.
Welcoming staff on arrival. Breakfast room in keeping with rest of lovely architecture. Appreciated the cooked breakfast choices on menu. Location so convenient for the town and Derwent Water. Shame car park is so small. Suggest people just go to a nearby side street and utilise the free parking available instead of struggle and take pot luck on 3-4 spaces.
Warm welcome after arriving later than anticipated due to traffic. Clean, comfortable room. Annette & Wes friendly and helpful. Plenty of on street parking nearby. Central location. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location just out of Keswick, but right on my walking route for the next day (Catbells / Derwent Water). While pay and display parking was required in the main car park, I managed to find the free parking over the road which was a bonus. Tasty breakfast in a nice dining room, plenty of choice and made fresh. Spacious bedroom with comfy beds and nice clean sheets. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The music in the bar was perfect for my taste too as was the local beer.
Location is absolutely superb, bang in the centre above a grocery store which is very convenient, opposite some lovely restaurants and bars.
The apartment is well furnished with two good size double bedrooms, lovely kitchen, large bathroom and a large living room. So brilliant for a family or two couples. Also free parking is included at the car park just down the road which is a bonus. Will be staying here again.
Was really happy with our stay at Harvington House, Graham greeted us on arrival and was a great host through our stay, giving advice on near by attractions. We had a cosy room on the top floor with an ensuite which was nice and clean. the breakfast was very nice. The house was a well situated, only a few minutes walk into the Town centre, with plenty of on street parking nearby.
Great location 5 minute walk directly into Keswick Town centre
Free parking available in their car park
Friendly staff
Easy no fuss arrival procedure
Clean and tidy bedroom smelt of lavender
Great breakfast except the hashbrowns
Very quiet area
Location is excellent, hotel is very clean, and staff are excellent. Breakfast is very good. Only minor issue is parking you need a bit of luck to get free on street parking nearby, but there is a pay and display car park close by.
