Location! Location! Location! Wonderful small inn located in a wonderful Yorkshire village. The inn can be reached by foot, bus or car. We walked there and enjoyed a delicious dinner before retiring to a really, lovely bedroom looking out over the Yorkshire Dales. Very clean. Very quiet. Very restful.

Three generations of the same family own and look after the property, which was very unique inside, having been renovated by a prominent London architect in the 1970s. They made me feel beyond welcome, I felt as if I had met them before. A very special place, not your generic BnB, it has history and stories to tell plus abundant wildlife. It is miles from any busy main roads or towns, and next to Malham Tarn, a large high altitude fresh water lake. Has a resident tawny owl with chicks and cheeky foxes. Plenty of walks, situated within walking distance to Malham cove and Settle.

Clean room, fantastic as had everything I needed; Wi-Fi, shower, fridge, kettle and parking space Host was exceptional, breakfast was brilliant and was very accommodating to my gluten intolerance.
