Breakfast is great, homemade marmalade a real treat. Rooms have no keys, just access codes. Really lovely quirky property. I had to go out to work at 5am (came back for breakfast) and there's special door to use. Nice biscuits!

The bed rooms were good but the downstairs bar / reception was of poor quality and desperately needed refurbishment

The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice but we only had cereal and toast as we don't like big breakfasts. The room was lovely, nicely presented and the bathroom was so well designed for a small room. There was lots of storage. There were bottles of water every day which was a nice touch as it was quite warm. We were really happy with the cleanliness it was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was just off the seafront so not too busy or noisy, but it was 1 minute to the sea and very near the pier complex.

Great location in a quiet street near the Dovercourt beach huts. Felt homely without personal clutter. Plenty of modern facilities & lovely outside garden space. Had everything we needed for the weekend: well equipped kitchen, decent showers, WiFi & beds were comfy. Recommended & hope to return again.
I was staying here, as I had an early start the following morning to get up and run an ultra marathon.
I didn't expect much, looking at the photos.
But I literally cannot recommend this place enough.
It was fantastic for the price I paid.
Perfect location for getting a bite to eat.
A really nice girl checked me in quickly and easily.
The room was very basic, but had everything I needed for the night, and it was so cheap at just £55.
Nice a quiet, I got a good sleep.

Great location, about 5/10 minute drive to the port of harwich perfect if you’re catching the ferry! Bed is big and comfortable, nice shower and a nice selection of hot drinks in the room! Quiet and clean.
