The room was delightful and cosy, the bed was very comfortable and we both loved the rain shower in the bathroom. Hannah's breakfast was delicious, especially overnight oats and homegrown rhubarb compot. Both before our arrival and once we were there we felt very well looked after. The suggested walk from the front door was lovely. Thank you!

All rooms are en suite with welcome tray and TV/telephone. Log fires in cooler months. The hotel makes an ideal base for visiting York, The Dales, The Moors/coast or simply a few days away.

Really fabulous stay. Lovely rooms, individually decorated, friendly staff, and great meals (dinner & breakfast). I understand it's under a recent management change, and boy does it show. Really friendly and a superb place to stay in the heart of Easingwold.

Apr 2024 Just spent two nights at this gorgeous little guest house. What a fantastic place this is. So quirky and homely. Sheila the hostess couldn't do enough for you, the place was clean, the room's each had their own bathrooms. The breakfast was made freshly for each person and wow it was lovely. The village is very nice with quite a few pub's, the locals are very friendly we asked about getting the bus to York. The bus leaves the market square the 30x was the quicker one, and the fare was £2 per person. Well worth doing by bus, the stop was just in front of the toilet block, market square. A very enjoyable break and we'll definitely return and recommend.

We had an excellent stay at this wonderful and quirky B&B for one night. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with gorgeous toiletries, so didn't need to use our own. The owner is a fantastic host and provided such an excellent selection for a wonderful breakfast. The home baked bread rolls were fab! We can highly recommend your lovely b&b and tea room/interior shop.

Fabulous breakfast, loved the homemade touches. Felt very private in the annexe as opposed to being in a standard B&B. Good parking facilities.

Lovely quiet location. Superb breakfast. Choose each day from a selection. yoghurt with granola, sourdough bread (baked locally) toasted, jam / marmalade, warm muffin. Also eggs from their own hens when added to menu. Lots of country walks from the accommodation. Check out English heritage and National Trust sites plus Castle Howard. Hannah was very nice, easy to talk to and very knowledgable about the area.

Good choice of lovely food, served in our own private area. All very relaxing. The room is very well equipped and very comfortable. Some delightful touches such as the delicious millionaires shortbread , the soap and shampoo in the bathroom and the little chocolate Easter eggs on the breakfast table. The information we received from Hannah prior to our visit was really useful and made for a stress free experience.
