The room was excellent - spacious and clean with everything we needed, and a little balcony. The host was very kind and attentive, doing everything he could to help us.
The location is mostly nice as it is in a central area that has a mix of tourists and locals, with lots of good cafés and shops. Though it is a steep climb, it is close to the Tophane tram station, which provides easy access to both the sights of Sultanahmet and ferries from Kabataş.
Located right at the heart of Istanbul’s historic peninsula, Best Point Suites is within around a 700 metres from many historical sites like Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia Museum and Blue Mosque.

Istanbul is a very cool city and it is worth visit 200%
Regarding this apartment.
Location: it is very central and touristic. 5-10 mins to main attractions and T1 tram to other attractions.
Parking: Kubilay reserved parking slot for us for 15 EUR/day. It was located 30 meters from apart.
Apartment: It has a lot of great features:
- it is clean
- water, snacks and fruits are refreshed every day
- every day cleaning like in the hotel
- everything is working in the apartment and working well
- terrace is the most spectacular place in the apartment
- air conditioner helped us a lot this summer
But you should understand several negative things:
- it is not for tall people ! I am 1.88m And it is hard to count how many times my head was suffering =). And the most important ! Sofa in living room is too short !!! It was very uncomfortable because of this
- shower doesn't have any curtain. And when you have shower the whole bath is wet. Very strange
- there is no place for all your staff when you travel with family. Wardrobe has only one shelve and tiny. And that's it. The whole apartment I would describe as tiny, except terrace ! It is perfect =)
Also, apartment on the third floor with very steep stairs. But it was ok for us.
Conclusion
Would I visit Istanbul one more time - rather YES, then NO
Would I stay in Sultanahmet - rather NO, then yes. Sultanahmet is not Istanbul. It is touristic place, with annoying restarunts, sellers and not the greatest service, where everything is very expensive. Better to live near T1 tram
Would I choose this apartment once again - NO because of my height =)
