The apartment complex features some units that have a balcony and mountain view, and units have a private bathroom and a outdoor furniture. At the apartment complex, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. So cosy and comfortable- a real home away from home. Simon the host was incredibly hospitable and really welcoming - we’ll definitely be back!!

The location, the apartment itself was so spacious and modern with every amenity you could wish for.
Raetihi
Set 30 km from Turoa, Cosy Studio Perfect for a Couple at Historic Town provides accommodation in Raetihi. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is located 50 km from Mount Ruapehu. Nice, clean, spacious place with easy access after-hours.
National Park
Tongariro Estate has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in National Park, 16 km from Mount Ruapehu. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms. This holiday house has excellent views of Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe so we could see the changing face of these mountains throughout the day and night as the cloud and the mist came and went. The house is well placed to easily drive to the various access points to the Tongariro National Park, such as Whakapapa and Ohakune The kitchen was well equipped and spacious, so preparing meals was no hassle. The bedrooms were reasonably spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts, Michael & Nicola, were very approachable, great to chat with and very helpful with local information. We would have loved to stay longer. This is a magical part of NZ (at least for an Australian !).

The apartment was very spacious, kitchen was fairly well stocked, location is ideal for the tongariro alpine crossing although unfortunately we weren't able to do it during our stay due to the weather !
Everything is perfect, but it will be better if the bed is more firmed. Thank you very much for letting us leaved our car there while we went for the full day Crossing.
The mezzanine was spacious and well-equipped for a short stay.
Host really nice and helpful, studio fully équiped and cozy. Pretty calm.
Apartment was clean, modern and had all amenities as described. Each had their own car space and secured outdoor storage closet. Short walk to town. Hosts were very friendly, helpful with local knowledge and, within reason, provide shuttle transport. 3 hot tubs and sauna on-site. They also had a bike wash station. Overall loved our stay and would recommend.
I planned a girls trip with 3 of my NZ friends. We stayed a the gingerbread house during our trip and loved the cute and cozy apartment. The place was perfect for our get away.
We had a two bedroom apartment which was cosy and clean. We liked the location which had a good variety of eating options around, and having ski rentals across the road helped.
This was such a cool location - it's in a historic town in a historic building. It was a really neat surprise. A modern apartment with some character, good essentials and great location. I really enjoyed it. It's not 5 star, but it's a beautiful character.

We arrived 2 hours before check in and the nice lady at the counter not only let us check in early but also upgraded are room to a 2 bedroom apartment from the studio I booked for my partner and our boy. Great hospitality and the units where clean and family friendly. I recommend for a family stay.
