There are so many amazing things to say about this place, I'll just go in order: 1) They were VERY prompt and communicative over booking.com chat for my questions and requests for my sister who is on a wheelchair. 2) They have a free shuttle bus service for pickup from the train/bus station and a dropoff. AND for whenever you want to visit anywhere in Hakuba that's within a 10 min drive diameter. HOW COOL IS THAT?! An absolute highlight and USP of this place. 3) THE STAFF! Omg, the staff is some of the BEST I've ever seen in all of my stays around the world. In particular, their managers Thomas and Rena. I cannot emphasize how immensely helpful they both were throughout my stay there working around the clock to ensure we had the best time. Seriously, words cannot describe how great they were and I cannot thank them enough. 4) Thomas, who was coordinating with me over messages before my arrival; made whatever possible arrangements for my handicapped sister to ensure she had the smoothest time and I am incredibly thankful to him for that. Not only this, he personally took so much time and effort to make sure we got to do the activities we wanted and made all sorts of arrangements including arranging for ski rentals and inquiring with the resorts before we got there. Anyone from the Wadano team reading this, please make sure this guy is taken care of well. He truly is the crown jewel of our experience there. 5) The hotel itself is equipped with an awesome lounge area with a pool table, Foosball, board games and plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Never had a dull time while I was there. 6) The rooms were wonderful and spacious. A perfect blend between modern hotel rooms on one side and a Japanese inn kinda feeling on the other. Overall, this was the best stay we had out of all of the places we visited in Japan.

The owner, Bob, is an absolute gem. He's a Canadian ex-pat and long-time resident of Hakuba, so if you're in Japan for the first time, and have limited knowledge of the language and customs, he's an invaluable resource. Bob gave us recommendations for the best ski resorts, restaurants, and local attractions like onsen. He drove us to all of the above and picked us up. One of the most useful suggestions was shipping our snowboards to Haneda airport instead of having to schlep them around Tokyo with us. He came with us to the transport facility and helped us fill out the shipping forms. One of the really special, personal touches was the homemade apple cakes that his wife made; perfect with yogurt for pre-snowboard breakfast. In short, Bob is awesome! 2. Location. In walking distance from the main drag, but not in the middle of it so, very quiet at night. It's right across the street from Hakuba station so we were able to access transport to Nagano and Tokyo via walking. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby as well. 3. Facilities. These suites are spacious and well appointed. By Japanese standards, bathrooms are huge. The kitchens are well-stocked, and beds comfy with warm, cloud-like down comforters. View from rooftop is jaw-dropping. We enjoyed sunrises and sunset apres from there. There is a grill and plenty of seating as well, so if you are so inclined, could cook out.

The apartment offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. The Jade team delivered exceptional service from the beginning of our booking until the end of our stay. They facilitated transportation from the train station and arranged restaurant bookings for us. Their support made everything very convenient and they were always easy to contact. The house itself was quite impressive. We enjoyed the mountain views from the terrace and appreciated that the kitchen was fully equipped. The proximity of the supermarket, just 8 minute's walk away, was extremely convenient since we did not have a car. The location was perfect for our needs.

The unit has soundproofing and a bidet. The apartment offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. The accomodation was spacious and clean. The photos do not do this place justice! Solomon was extremely helpful in allowing us early check in, driving us to a nice lunch spot and to the Hakuba station. About 5 minutes walk to bus shuttles for Goryu and happo one. 10 minutes walk to the 7/11 convenience store. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Hakuba.

There are two bathrooms with toilets and an additional toilet in a large laundry. Lots of small details makes this apartment perfect-spotless linen, decent cookware, generous amenities, comfy beds, good water pressure for nice hot showers, heaters in the bathrooms are a life saver on those freezing days and a drying room at the entrance for your skiing and snowboarding gear. The highlight however were the hosts who were just lovely- they offered a pick up and drop off from the bus stop, helped us settle in with a trip to the supermarket and even helped with restaurant bookings when we couldn’t get through and were generally just a quick message away if we needed anything. The check in and check out was effortless. We will definitely be back!
