First, let me say that Tamer is a wonderful host. I got sick and Tamer did not hesitate to help me in every way he could. This hostel is perfectly located. It takes you 5 minutes to go to Petra visitors center for less that 4 JD (don’t hesitate to bargain) by taxi, or 25minutes walking. Very clean room, the hostel is brand new. Tamer offert home made diner, breakfast and many more stuff.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. this is a very new hostel so everything is fresh and it is kept very clean. It is the perfect place to stay if you are stopping by to see Petra. good value for money and the breakfast is convenient to take away and it’s included!- some places I saw were selling similar things for 6JDS. the living room has a nice view and is comfy. The host is incredibly helpful and nice, he went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We got absolutely soaked at Petra and he helped us dry when we went to pick our bags up even though we had already checked out. One thing to note is it didn’t have a sign up when we were staying there because it is so new, but it is in the right place on Google maps.

The family who own the hotel were very kind and gave advice regarding the best way to visit Petra. They also arranged a taxi at local price to take me to Petra and back, as walking it is a bit far. I strongly recommend having meals from there, as they were all delicious and very authentic to typical food from Jordan, that you may not find in restaurants easily.

We were greeted and showed to our room, which looked much nicer than in pics. Everything was super clean and ac made room very warm very quickly. I also left bathroom door open, so it got warm in 5 min. Shower was hot and our bathroom had no funny smells. My husband is picky sleeper, but even he said that bed was comfortable and he had good night sleep. I agreed - bed was comfortable and area was very silent. We also received big tray of delicious breakfast for the next morning. Room also had mini bar with reasonably priced water (1jd and in local supermarket you pay 0,5jd), soft drinks, chocolate etc. You also can get 6 bottles of water for 4jd. Also - family offers dinner, what I highly recommend. Petra is expensive and most of the time you will get something expensive, small and not even tasty. They also offer lunch boxes. We don't eat lunch so we refused that offer, but for those who eats I also recommend to take it, as in Petra you will be greeted with crazy prices.
