Everything! The welcome from our hosts, the idyllic location, excellent food from their restaurant and the proximity to several swimming spots. We enjiyed a fantastic holiday at Porto Bello apartments. From the owner meeting us at 11.00pm to show us our room. Breakfast was really good every morning,with home made bread ! Fantastic. The pool was really useful when there was a storm and no sea bathing. The owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. Drinks from the bar were obtained on a honesty basis. You had your drink ,noted the item down and paid your bill on departure. Unbelievable. The rooms were wonderful with two balconies, if one was in the shade ,the other was in full sun. The Bathrooms were newly refurbished and excellent. The best holiday accommodation we've had in over 20 years in going to Crete.

This apartment is much better in real than at the photo. The location is excellent. On the one hand - wonderful beach, relaxing and calming atmosphere. On the other hand, restaurant (1-st floor), cafes, beaches and markets are within walking distance. The apartments has everything you need for a great vocation, it`s very clean and you will have a beautiful view on sea from the windows. On the ground floor located wonderful restaurant with delicious Greek and European cuisine. The most kind words about the owners of this apartment - Anastasia and her husband. We were stayed in the different apartments many times but we have never met such care from the owners. They are very kind and wonderful people, always ready to help in all matters and make your holiday as wonderful as it possible. We highly recommend them and theirs apartments. Anastasia, thank you so much for such a wonderful meditational vocation :)

Jenny contacted us prior to our arrival to make sure, she could welcome us personally. When we arrived, she was waiting for us and greeted us most warmly with snacks and refreshments. She took time to show us around the apartment and explain everything we needed to know. She went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay and is a great host, the best we had so far during our travels. The apartment has a great location with lovely sunset-views, close enough to the tavernas to go there by foot, but far away already that you feel like you have the bay to yourself. Directly outside the apartment is a stone-beach, so you can go swimming every time of day (or night). The apartment is in great shape, it looks to be newly renovated. If you stay here, you will feel very special, thanks to the apartment and Jenny!

So peaceful, authentic and just wonderful! The appartment was very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. All tiled, with a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The mountains on one side, with the sound of the cerisses and the smell of thyme. In the morning it was nice and cool on the balcony, and in the evening it was pure magic with the sunset in the deep, blue sea. Our hostess, Anastasia, and her husband were so nice and friendly. Anastasia gave us many good tips on what to see in the area, and the communication was really good before arrival, and during. They made our holiday very special, and we feel like we got to know a bit of the greek culture. We recommend having grilled fish at Meltemi beach hotel while watching the sunset! We could not wish for a nicer stay. Meltemi beach is peaceful, with very good food. The village of Milatos, just a short stroll from Meltemi, is so quaint, with narrow streets, small family tavernas, and we even found a place with live music, and spontanious, greek dancing, on a saturday evening. We recommend having a car, so you can get about and visit nearby sites. We really hope to come back to Meltemi beach Apartments one day!
