Just like any japanese hotel.. the room is not spacious. We accidentally booked smoking room and good thing they allowed us to changed it to non smoking room. The location is near the JR station.
The location is great and the price is also unexpensive. The room is clean and there are some convenient stores nearby. You can walk to "Sakae" in 10~15mins. Even it is not a very popular location but it's still convenient and quiet. The room is bigger than I expected! For this price, it's even larger than the typical hotel rooms in major Japanese cities. The hotel features a public bathhouse, which is very comfortable, although the water temperature in the bathhouse is a bit too high, haha.
Good functional hotel with common hot bath. It is located along the same stretch where there is another APA Hotel with the same name except that this one has “Kita” at the end of the name and it seems guests arriving tend to make the mistake of going to the other APA Hotel (which is closer to the station) which must be bothersome for the staff at the other APA Hotel but they were very good natured about it
provide for all that’s needed, eg. pyjamas, basic toiletries and skin care (available at reception). Breakfast is delicious - get to try Japanese food, eg. Onigiri, miso soup and even ice-cream.
Peaceful location 20 mins drive from Ghibli park. Really quiet all day. Staff lovely. Offered a Japanese breakfast.
We booked Pirate suite room and my kids love it so much, treasure box inside kids room quite challenging for the kids to open. Reception staff were friendly and professional, breakfast also quite good with plenty Japanese food choices, Legoland just at the front of the lobby hotel.
What a lovely hotel to stay in! We loved the location, the book cafe, the facilities and staff were great. A perfect spot to explore Nagoya and visit the Ghibli theme park. The hotel is just a couple of minutes on the line which takes you to Ghibli park. The room was a good size (for Japanese hotels) and the staff were always helpful and friendly. Plus there were books in the room too.
Location super convenient yet quiet. Room is large by similar sized Japanese accomodation at this price. With street facing windows.
Room was modern and spacious. No problems with having our luggage delivered here, and the staff were very helpful in helping us deliver it on to the next location. Staffed 24 hours. Cafe was open late and sold good coffee. Laundry facilities in the lobby. Library was interesting, but obviously all the books were in Japanese. Very close to a metro station.
This is a traditional Japanese hotel with futon beds. Comfortable covered car parking, smooth self-check-in. It was very clean. We had a very pleasant stay! Thank you!
