The location was in a great central spot. It was a three-minute drive to all places to a five-minute drive. Was very clean and tidy and the other guest were very quiet. the setup of entry to the room was amazing could not complain once I was told how to get into the room - note to oneself read the emails.

Featuring free WiFi and an on-site restaurant, Black Rock Inn is just 4 minutes’ drive from the Blackwater Country Golf Club. In the middle of nowhere this would be a great property. Except they have no wifi. When it was mentioned at the front desk there is no wifi they said they know. Don’t advertise free wifi when it doesn’t exist. And no hair dryers in the rooms. You have to ask for one at the front desk.

The Capricorn Hotel is located in Blackwater. At the hotel, rooms come with a terrace. Staff were nice, big muddy puddles outside which made the inside of motel dirty. Bed was comfortable but the room could do with a refresh
