The price was a little high for me, but it's totally worth it! The breakfast is trully amazing and the sky spa is incredible. It's a great hotel to stop at if like me you are planning to hike Aso and want a good night of sleep, spa rest and a good fullfilling meal. Not the mention the view on the Kumamoto Castle from the hotel. The staff was great and thoughful.

The bunk beds were cool and a hit for our family of 4. Convenient washer and dryer feature in the bathroom made drying clothes quicker. 7-11 was across the street. Checkin was on a tablet but someone is there to assist you if you need help. One of our favorite hotels on our Kyushu vacation.

Location is great, next to Kumamoto station but in a quieter corner. Very close to Toyota rental car, so very convenient if you plan to rent a car there (just across the street. The room was comfortable. I particularly like the sofa by the window. The reception/ lounge was also very cozy and welcoming.
