The TV system didn’t have cable/local TV. It had Netflix and other streaming services, but if you wanted to watch a game on ESPN or catch the local news you are out of luck.

Centrally located. Nice grounds. The pool area looks inviting but was too clody and cool to take a dip .

I only stayed one night, but found the hotel to be easy, clean, and nicely decorated. There is a nice restaurant and bar which extends out to the pool. I walked from there straight down State street (about a mile) to the fun, nightlife area of Santa Barbara for the evening then took an Uber home. In the morning I was able to run down to the beach from the hotel and take a dip in the pool when I returned.

I like crisp sheets, these were not but the bed was clean and comfortable.

The rooms are a little dated and slightly run down.

Location was definitely a plus. Free parking and just a couple of minutes to the beach by car. Good price in comparison to hotels and motels further down on State Street.

A very minor thing - the fridge was off when we arrived but it didn't take long to cool down.

This was a great room - spacious, clean, quiet, separate anteroom with the fridge and microwave by the sink so no gurgling noises at night, small moveable sofa to catch the setting sun, balcony overlooking central courtyard with palms. I thought the restaurant tables in the courtyard would mean it was noisy but it wasn't. We didn't eat at the there but the food looked (and smelt) lovely!

CONS: the floors, stone tiles, are SO Cold, bring slippers. We had a Deluxe King Room and personally I prefer the Double I had last time. It was much larger but no little sofa.

This is my 3rd stay at The Lemon Tree Inn. Top end of State Street so it’s nice and quiet but you will need your car. There is a market right behind it for whatever you might need. The bed was super comfy. Heat and air worked fine. The TV was great, a new version with several streaming apps already installed, Prime, Netflix, Hulu and a couple others. You just need to sign in if you subscribe. Coffee, little fridge and iron board in the dressing/sink area.

We would be happy to have coffee inside room every morning, but unfortunately they were no coffee bags. The hotel needs renovations in some places, but for that money it was Ok. If you have a limited budget, this hotel is for you.

I liked the location which matches the price. My aim was to play golf and visit the downtown, and the hotel was in the middle of the way. The hotel location was good for my aims. It was pleasant to enjoy the pool in the middle of Appril. The staff was attentive and helpfull. The cleaning service was much better than expected. Each room has a balcony which allows enjoying the palms in the internal yard.

There were very loud birds outside the hotel room that woke me up both mornings. This was quite annoying. Maybe a different room would not have encountered that problem.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was a good size and had a mini fridge and coffee maker. The hotel is old but the landscaping is very pretty and it was clean.

I had booked the room for less than I got charged for. I think it was for like $100 or something. I booked it online through a travel agency and it didn't show up on the register and that made me extremely mad

That there was a bar and a restaurant on the facility

Didn't get good sleep from the connecting room next to us . They were up all night till 330am. Waste of money and night. Had to call the front office.

Room was far from the pool. I did not request handicap access so shower flooded bathroom every day. I was given the only room without a window. The hotel was only half booked. Not happy with the room I was given. Very dark. No view. The curtain on the "patio" door had something gross on it. I hate to think what it was.

    Parking was easy
