“Beautiful room, so clean and very comfortable bed, the toiletries in the bathroom were lovey and the towels the whitest and softest we've had whilst we've been in Greece.”
“Stayed 17 - 21 May 2024.
AIRPORT DRIVE - We rented a car - extremely easy drive from the airport and plenty of parking at the proeprty.
ARRIVAL - We arrived late Friday evening (around 9 or 10pm) - if you’re doing the same, don’t arrive hungry (we should’ve brought food or stopped in the town shortly after leaving the airport to eat as there are no nearby open restaurants / shops at that time!) Very easy check-in process, our key was just in an envelope with a welcome letter.
LOCATION - very quiet area, it’s not a tourist town. It was incredibly peaceful. Coming from busy London, it felt like the most incredible luxury to sit out on the terrace, with a beautiful view, and start the day slowly with a lovely breakfast. The beach was about a 20 minute leisurely walk (easy to drive too). The beach is small - has about 20 parasols but we easily found a spot each day we went. There is a place on the beach to get food and drinks too - serves very nice fish dishes (of course!). We drove to Rhodes Town one day - again very easy drive (less than an hour) and the roads are not busy at all. There are a handful of restaurants in the area (about a five min drive) - all very good food.
ROOM - we had one of the smaller rooms, the terrace is the showstopper, absolutely divine spending mornings there! Our bed was sort of in a loft space and it was very warm - but fine once the aircon was on. If you’re thinking of having someone sleep downstairs on the sofa then they will likely be chilly a lot quicker than you due to aircon!
ATMOSPHERE - we often had breakfast on the terrace (8:30 - 10am) with the other guests (mostly couples). Everyone there clearly valued the same peacefulness of the resort and everyone was very friendly (one older couple had visited three times because they loved it so much).
FOOD - the reviews are right, the food is incredible. We were only there for one night when the owners cooked but the moussaka (veg and pork versions) were divine!”
“The location in the old town was perfect for museums and restaurants. We had a suite with a terrace which was very quiet and peaceful. Nickos even came in his golf buggy to collect us from the ferry port.”
“We loved the stay. It is in the heart of the city and accessible to all food and other shops. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the owner is so very polite, helpful throughout out stay and available anytime you call.”
“The host was most welcoming and accommodating even though the ship was delayed. She stayed up to receive us and even offered to extend our stay if that was necessary!”
“I was near the northern gate of the old city so if you are gonna use a ferry boat heading to Athens or other cities, it would be very helpful to be in this hotel. Additionally, the host is totally friendly and sweet with making delicious dishes. I would like to be here again when I come back to Rhodes.”
