“Everyone at the hotel - I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write this review.
Well, what can I say about Hotel Boulevard… fantastic. When booking this hotel, I made it very clear that I was going through a divorce and that I wanted princess treatment… I meant it as a joke, because we Brits think we are funny, but this hotel really went above and beyond to make me feel just that. A princess.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was welcomed warmly by the staff and the hotel manager (I am so sorry, I have forgotten everyone’s names, I’m rubbish), a lovely refreshing drink and a nice flannel to clean and refresh my face after a very long day.
They were so helpful in giving me advice and the hotel manager (I’m sure his name was Chris!? Adam!? I’m not sure 😂) gave me lots of great recommendations for the area.
The lovely staff then took my luggage and took me to my room. I almost burst into tears when seeing they had decorated the room with balloons and stuck a picture on the wall which read ‘we knew you were too good for him, congratulations on finalising your divorce’. I just think this was such a kind and considerate thing to do, I was so overwhelmed and this treatment instantly made me feel so welcome and surprisingly cared for. Before I could let the tears fall, I hear a knock at the door, I open it to see several staff there holding the most beautiful little cake for me 😭😭😭😭😭. This was arranged by Kris the guest experience manager, and her team. She and her colleagues were SO kind and just really sweet to me, not once did I feel embarrassed about my divorce or judged (like I did in another hotel, because I asked for princess treatment in several and Hotel Boulevard were the ONLY hotel to make effort!)
This experience alone will bring me back to this hotel ANY time I might visit Bangkok again. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, it was such an experience that truly will stay with me forever.”
