Room - Needs more charge points for Phones, iPad, Watches. Woken up at 01.00 most nights with people leaving the Bar. Not have room bin emptied daily, not good on warm days.

Breakfast - good choice. Netflix on room TV was very good. Parking was good. Not making up bed every day is a good thing

Can’t really say anything negative about the hotel all was good on our end

We travelled by coach so it was easy to find the hotel as it was right next to the bus stop. We loved that you had a piper outside playing for everyone to hear. The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfy. We were told before hand when booking that the room we booked could hear noise from downstairs but besides our last night we didn’t hear much even the loudest night was a dull noise at most. Lovely property would be back again in the future

I know the hotel is an old building, but some of the furniture in the rooms could be upgraded. Could be noisy at times despite not having the room above the bar. No priority for hotel residents for dinner Can be difficult when busy to find parking as the people coming over for dinner also park there.

Room a little hot. Windows open but mosquito or something came in. Pillow too puffy.

Food in restaurant lovely. They have seniors menu. Bathroom modern and clean. Helpful staff to carry bags upstairs. Easy parking onsite. Piper outside front door about 7pm. Clearly a tourist town. People everywhere.

Food was good . Dinner was tasty but very noisy. Breakfast was very good in a pleasant atmosphere. Both good value. Room was cramped and overpriced. Very busy road in front of hotel which felt dangerous to cross. Enjoyable overall.

Very noisy room. Could not go to sleep from noise from bar below. Ok if I was on holiday but not when I’m awake at 6am for work.

My impression when moving through the hotel toward our room the varnished woodwork needs a bit of tlc staff didn’t inform us the there were 2 deep stairs leading from the bedroom to the shower room. Might be a struggle for older people etc. breakfast wasn’t particularly great but that is a personal preference. Not square sausage. Haggis was dry scrambled eggs a bit wet. Sat next to fire exit with doors opened causing food to cool down to quickly but I understand it’s a warm environment. Just don’t sit near the exits.

Location was great. Warm welcome from receptionist. Loved the old building and its creeky stairs. Bedroom was fine and clean. Shower facilities was good.

Getting to rooms was fine, a bit of a maze, but a nice place. Breakfast was good and staff were very good! Location was great!

Surprised that there was no luggage store for guests, although I was able to leave my rucksack in the corner of the lobby while I went for a walk before catching my train. Also being unable to book dinner as a hotel guest seemed odd; I had to eat elsewhere.

Comfortable room and good breakfast. The hotel building is much better than most in Aviemore, and the location just opposite the station was brilliant.
