We saved this for the last 4 days of our trip and we are so glad we did. Perfect place to relax. The amenities are fabulous. Beautiful infinity pool, great lounging area around the pool with wait service. A great bar and restaurant, access to natural pools, an indoor pool with a dry sauna, and steam room. There is a spa on the property which we used and was a great experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It is only a short 20-minute drive into Ponta Delgado, so you can easily access the main city if you want to try different restaurants and take in some of the night-life, and then come back and unwind at this beautiful property with plenty of parking; which sometimes is an issue when staying in Ponta Delgado. 100% recommend Pedras Do Mar. 10+++!!

We were given 2 different addresses, so it took us over 45 minutes to locate the property once we were in the right town. There were several locals that were extremely helpful to us as we attempted to locate the property. Carla left us a nice gift basket on arrival and was communicating with us so we could confirm the correct address. She also dropped off a tea kettle for us since there wasn't one available when we arrived, which was very kind. The bedroom size was large. We didn't use the living room area, but it had good seating options. The pool and views from the pool were the highlight.

The main bedroom could use more pillows. The kitchen needs some updating. The property needs more dish towels and some starter items like salt, pepper, bottle of oil, etc. A new kitchen sponge would have been nice. The stovetop can only be lit with a lighter. At least one of the gas knobs doesn't work. The largest issue was a very bad odor coming from the bathroom. Carla did send a couple of guys over to correct the problem, but it ended up not making any difference. We had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the smell from permeating through the property. We essentially used the bathroom only as a last resort because the smell was so bad. Carla offered us an unspecified refund, but as of this writing we have not heard back from her. We plan to reach out to Booking.com for a resolution.

Perfect location. Close to riberia. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful terrace. Lovely staff who were very helpful as well as a place to park if you have a rent a car. Was in the city but felt like home. Recommend for anyone staying in Porto!

The location was perfect. The owners were lovely and very helpful giving great recommendations and a brief history and even created a website they send with everything you need. This was a perfppace to stay, beautiful, clean and safe!

The location is awesome right in front of all the services. (Supermarket, Pharmacy, etc.) The breakfast was good and fresh. The hotel was very clean and new.
Negative section of review
The air conditioning is centrally managed and it does not allow temperature regulation by the user. Furthermore, the mode was not possible to change so with 25 degrees Celsius I had my airconditioning in warm-up mode. The water temperature in the shower was always fluctuating, which is impossible in such a new hotel.
