The property is a 5 minute walk from the main gate of the old city and provides free parking. There are a few restaurants outside the walls within a few minutes walk and a supermarket is a 5 min drive away. The apartment is well designed and tastefully furnished, it is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook, the water pressure in the bathroom is strong and the wifi is very good. The bed is very firm but if you like something a little softer the sofa bed is comfortable and the host is more than willing to provide extra bedding. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and met us at the property to show us around and offer recommendations. They gave us some really good cherry liquor, wine and some local biscuits which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend staying here - if it is available, snap it up!

Lovely apartment extremely clean, well decorated. Hosts went over and above to make us welcome. Wine, gingha, water and biscuits left as a welcome. Good wi-fi, plenty of hot water and towels. Close to centre of Obidos.

The hospitality from Tiago and Dora is exceptional! They are very helpful with providing all the information we need to get to Obidos and explore the area. There is a website dedicated specifically for recommendations of things to do, restaurants, bars and history of the city. We were also given a map and Tiago carefully explained tips of how to best explore Obidos based on what we wanted to do. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped and homey. I couldn’t recommend the place more.

The location was perfect. The owners were lovely and very helpful giving great recommendations and a brief history and even created a website they send with everything you need. This was a perfppace to stay, beautiful, clean and safe!

The property was fine for us. Some people may find it too compact in size. We managed with the breakfast bar arrangement, but prefer a table and chairs. If the weather had been warmer we may have been able to use the table and chairs on the terrace instead. Nothing to do with the host, but would recommend booking a restaurant in advance to make sure you get dinner.

The location was extremely convenient for visiting the old walled city and there was plentiful parking. The apartment although compact in size was well equipped and nicely decorated. We appreciated the shutters in the bedroom to block out light. We booked a property with a small terrace. Unfortunately we were not able to use it due to our schedule and the weather. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant turned us away, claiming to be full, despite us being able to clearly see empty tables. We returned to the host who pointed us in the direction of a supermarket which we just managed to get to in order to get some food. The hosts came and checked us out in the morning and made some recommendations about places to visit whilst we were on our tour.

Best stay of our Portugal road trip. Tiago and Dora were exceptional guests, amazingly organized, gave us every bit of information we needed in a few minutes, booked us a table for dinner, and welcomed us warmly to their lovely apartment. The place is new and strikingly clean with every appliance you might need. Free parking right outside the door. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you guys!

If you're going to Obidos - Dora & Tiago are exceptional hosts. They met us; gave us a great orientation on both the castle & local history & made excellent dinner suggestions. Their place was adorable in an excellent location with great views and parking. We had short walks to everything. Extremely convenient. They even made suggestions on future stops for our trip. I can't say enough good things about them and their property.

Our apartment was located within a five minute walk to one of the walled gate entrances. In addition, there are good reasonably priced restaurants within a few minutes walk. We were also able to enjoy some wine out on our balcony with an amazing view of the castle and walls! Tiago was a great host who provided us with an incredible app. which provided us with an incredible wealth of information about attractions, shopping and eating. He also went out of his way to ensure we had dining reservations during our stay.

Very comfortable apartment with great kitchen facilities, beautiful view, large comfortable bed and lovely personal touches such as cozy blankets and treats on arrival. Tiago and Dora are the perfect hosts who greeted us on arrival and offered handy tips throughout our stay.

Stayed at the apartment with the terrace and it was an excellent choice. Great view of the castle walls from the patio. The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean and was finished well. The host was very friendly and helpful even offered to take us to the train station and had they known we were coming by bus to Caldas da Rainha would have picked us up from there. They advised us of places to eat and provide some history of the town. Would definitely stay again if visiting.

The weather. But can hardly something Tiago can control. :-)

This unit has a great location with parking just outside the Castel walls with direct access through the wall. Also, Tiago provided an overview of the area, map, dining recommendations and we were also greeted with a bottle of wine, ginja and some treats. The unit was clean and had everything that was required. Not that it was a problem for us but larger people may find the bathroom in the unit a little cramped.
