We adored absolutely everything about Maison Loire and it’s amazing manager Nicolas. He is the kindest, most generous host we have ever had. He constantly ensured we had a fantastic stay in Blois and the Loire Valley. The house is gorgeous and is furnished in the most beautiful antique yet modern manner. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and Nicolas ensured we had anything and everything we needed. As we drove away my husband and I were talking about the next time we could stay. Also his little dog is so so so cute!!!

Cleaning was pretty good especially in shared areas. The rooms were pretty clean as well. The hotel in general was cleaner than I thought it would be. Close to public transportation that runs often. #215 bus stops at 10 but you can walk four minutes to hotel.

The only problem is insufficient air conditining in the room. I imagine in the summer it will be too hot to stay in rooms. Lobby stays cool but not rooms. I complained three times before they changed me to a lower floor where it was a bit better. The neighborhood is neglect to say the least but no one bothers you. I'm traveling alone and had no concerns.

Not the property itself, but they should know about the shuttle service. The two drivers we had were rude, yelled at the passengers, and the second jammed so many in the van that it was unsafe.

Two days to respond when they did not provide enough towels. Two rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels for 8 people for a week is ridiculous. Why piss people off for $5 euro when they paid you $3,000 for the week. 1 key is a real struggle for 8 people. Just put a key box on the outside by the front door. Fix these things and you will have an awesome experience

No kettle and no coffee/ tea pads is really disappointing. Breakfast was the worst that I have ever had. You charge 12 euros but there nothing there. No fresh fruits / no fresh juices / half cook scrambled eggs that’s all.
